WPSA Training on Managing Food Safety and Quality in Poultry Processing (22 August – 23August 2016)

wpsa newsWPSA training on Managing Food Safety and Quality in the Poultry Processing plant were successfully organised with the support from Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Department of Veterinary Services, Malaysia, CENTRAS, UPM and Charoen-Pokpand (CP) Poultry Processing plant.

The training comprises the various food safety, inspection and certification scopes at the poultry farm and poultry based food in the processing plant with the objective to share experience as well as transfer knowledge and skill on biosecurity and SPS, implementation of HACCP in abattoir, awareness on poultry welfare issues and to enhance the importance of halal concept in poultry processing plant. The training include Field Visit to CP Poultry Processing Plant, Seremban, Negeri Sembilan.
